Associate Client Partner
Do you get energized by keeping complex programs on track — and find real satisfaction in being the person who makes sure nothing slips through the cracks?
About the role
The Associate Client Partner sits at the center of Spotlight's client delivery work, helping enterprise technology companies manage and grow their influence with analysts, industry voices, and key communities. Our practice areas span analyst relations, influencer relations, customer engagement, and AI influence — and this role touches all of them. You'll also work closely with Spotlight's internal Research & Intelligence team, bringing market and competitive insight directly into client program strategy.
This is an entry-level consulting position on the Client Team. You'll support a team of Client Partners and Client Executives — owning the operational backbone of programs while building toward a seat at the strategy table. You report to a Client Partner, with direct exposure to client stakeholders from day one. No prior AR experience required; we'll train you.
Those effective in this role...
Own the day-to-day rhythm of client programs — tracking deliverables, managing deadlines, and ensuring no analyst interaction, event, or follow-up falls through the cracks.
Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, earning their trust by being responsive, organized, and consistently well-prepared.
Build and maintain the living knowledge base for each client — curating shareable assets like slide decks, case studies, and analyst mapping documents so the team can move fast when it matters.
Coordinate multi-stakeholder meetings with precision, keeping agendas tight and notes accurate so decisions land and action items get followed through.
Respond to urgent opportunities with composure and speed, making quick judgment calls about what needs attention now versus what can wait.
Collaborate actively with Client Partners, Client Executives, and the Research & Intelligence team to translate program strategy into on-the-ground execution.
Bring a sharp editorial eye to client-facing materials — reviewing documents for accuracy, clarity, and tone before they go out the door.
What you bring
Project management instincts. You naturally think in timelines, dependencies, and deliverables. Juggling multiple clients with competing deadlines doesn't overwhelm you — it organizes you. You build systems that hold up under pressure.
Communication that builds trust. Whether you're writing a meeting recap or preparing a client-facing summary, your words are clear, polished, and professionally confident. You know how to adapt your tone for different audiences, and you sweat the details.
Organizational rigor. From asset libraries to meeting cadences, you keep things structured so your team and clients always know where things stand. You proactively flag issues before they become problems.
Collaborative spirit. You default to partnership. You're as comfortable supporting a senior colleague's strategy as you are taking ownership of your own piece of the work — and you make the teams around you sharper.
You approach every engagement with curiosity and a genuine desire to get things right — and you bring a positive, people-first energy that fits who we are at Spotlight.
You could come from corporate communications, marketing, public relations, business operations, or project coordination.
