At Spotlight, it’s our mission to craft and sustain a successful analyst relations (AR) program for our clients—and it’s the role of the Accounting Specialist to assist in that success. You will be responsible for supporting a small accounting team in daily operations, especially related to accounts receivable and bank account reconciliation, as well as other tasks/projects as assigned.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERTISE

• An upbeat, fun, and engaging attitude

• Exposure to journal entry accounting, accrual basis accounting, and financial statements

• Familiarity with invoicing, cash collections, revenue recognition and sales tax reporting

• Excellent communication skills and style

• Works well and collaborates with internal accounting and finance teams, operations teams, and external clients

• Detail oriented and organized while adept at managing change in a fast moving and growing environment

• Comfortable in Excel/Google Sheets

• Relevant experience or accounting degree

• Experience with NetSuite a plus
